Fun and Interactive Jewish Services & Programs... We Welcome All Families!
At Temple Anshe Sholom we observe Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur with services and programs that are directed to people of all ages; accessible to people who come from all Jewish backgrounds and to those who are just learning to formulate questions.

Rosh Hashanah:  We gather together to welcome the new year, at a family celebration with performer, storyteller, musician & puppeteer ~ David Gershon! Join us on Sunday September 25 at 4:00pm for this special New Year celebration!

On the first day of Rosh Hashanah, Monday, September 26th at 10:30 a.m., we invite children and their families to a half hour long service in our lower sanctuary. This interactive service includes a story and songs, and is followed by snack and activities in our Frank Auditorium.

Later in the day, please join us as we gather for Tashlich at Van Wagner's Beach at 4:30 PM.

Yom Kippur:  We invite you to join us from home for our PJs & Prayers on Tuesday October 4, 2022 @ 6:15 p.m. A wonderful way to settle in for the evening, with a special prayer and opportunities for reflection as a family ~ ONLINE. Please visit to register.

On Wednesday, October 5th at 10:30 a.m. we will gather again for a family service in lower chapel. This musical service is followed by activities in the Frank Auditorium. 

We return in the late afternoon for the continuation of Yom Kippur observance, which includes a family re-telling of the Book of Jonah, songs and activities with Dora-Ann & Cantor Paula at 2:00 p.m.
